No-Fly Zones on the Moon?!

From a recent article in The Hindu Moon to have no-fly zones by month end, NASA announces no-fly zones on the Moon! By the end of the month NASA will be declaring a long list of landing sites and artifacts from the Apollo missions as “historical sites” and “property of the US government”. These locations will be considered off limits. “Apollo 11 and 17 sites [will] remain off-limits, with ground-travel buffers of 75 meters and 225 meters from each respective lunar lander,” states the July 20 guidelines of NASA, obtained by the Science journal.

According to Science, by the end of the month NASA is expected to provide a set of “recommendations” for spacecraft and astronauts visiting the “U.S. government property on the moon.” However, these recommendations will not be legally binding due to the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, which clearly states that the lunar surface has no owner.

Despite the lack of any legal right to enforce such “recommendations” NASA is hopeful that other Moon-goers will abide. By the way, the list of restrictions contains more than just the “historical sites”. For example, the list even forbids the studying of discarded food and abandoned astronaut feces.

Over the 40 years that have passed since the Apollo Moon missions, many NASA researchers have been perplexed as to why the Apollo missions were abruptly scrapped after Apollo 17 when there were another three missions that had already planned and paid for by American tax dollars. The reasons given by NASA (Never A Straight Answer) which were along the lines of the American people having lost interest in the Moon missions hardly explains why such a massive amount of time and money was wasted. Many believe that there is much more to this story.

Authors of the New York Times Bestseller Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA, Richard Hoagland and Mike Bara make a very well-researched case that NASA has been covering up amazing evidence of massive, ancient structures and artifacts on the Moon and Mars by doctoring photos, manipulating and compartmentalizing information to the highest levels of the National Security State. According to NASA’s charter, the governmental institution known as National Aeronautics and Space Administration is actually a department of the Executive Branch, answerable solely to the President of the United States. As Hoagland points out in Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA,

“Contrary to common public and media perception that NASA is an open, strictly civilian scientific institution, is the legal fact that the Space Agency was quietly founded as a direct adjunct to the Department of Defense, tasked with specifically assisting the National Security of the United States.. The NASA Charter explicitly states in Sec.305 (i) The National Aeronautics and Space Administration shall be considered a defense agency of the United States for the purpose of Chapter 17, Title 35 of the United States Code. In another section of the act, this seldom discussed defense responsibility – the ultimate undercutting of NASA’s continuing public façade as a strictly civilian, scientific agency is blatantly spelled out: Sec.205 (d) No [NASA] information which has been classified for reasons of national security shall be included in any report made under this section..”

Clearly, from these security provisions, the Congress, media, and American taxpayer will be and have always been privy only to whatever NASA findings have not already been classified by the Department of Defense and “intelligence community”. This includes all un-retouched, raw pictures and data regarding what’s really on the Moon and Mars, or anywhere else in the solar system. This can at least begin to explain why NASA has, throughout history, been accused of cover-ups at the highest levels by many researchers and former NASA engineers, technicians, and even astronauts.

Richard Hoagland was also able to find a copy of a NASA commissioned study from the early 1960s. This highly controversial study by the Brookings Institute dealt with the likely possibility of NASA uncovering artifacts or ancient structures left by other life forms or civilizations. Those who contributed to this report were considered the top minds from every corner of academia at the time. Their conclusions basically stated that,

1. Artifacts are likely to be found by NASA on the Moon or Mars.
2. If these artifacts point to the existence of a superior civilization, the social impact is "unpredictable".
3. Various negative social consequences, from “devastation” of the scientists and engineers, to an “electrifying” rise in religious fundamentalism, to the complete “disintegration” of society are distinct possibilities. The famous War of the Worlds broadcast provides an excellent example, which was actually cited in the study.
4. Serious consideration should be given to “withholding” such information from the public if, in fact, artifacts are ever discovered.

Taking the Brookings Report into consideration, we can see why NASA would have attempted to keep secret any findings of strange artifacts or structures on the Moon. Not only was NASA advised to withhold any such evidence, they were told to do so for the good of human society as a whole. As Hoagland states,

“It doesn’t take a proverbial rocket scientist to conclude that NASA took these recommendations and transformed them into policy at the highest levels. Nor would it be surprising if the whole question of  “artifacts” were considered a national security issue – given (again) NASA’s founding charter position as a “defense agency of the United States.”

Dr. Ken Johnston

NASA Whistleblower: Alien Moon Cities Exist, from Before Its News.com,

“Former National Aeronautics and Space Administration Data and Photo Control Department manager, Ken Johnston, who worked for the space agency's Lunar Receiving Laboratory during the Apollo missions has been fired for telling the truth. Johnston asserts NASA knows astronauts discovered ancient alien cities and the remains of amazingly advanced machinery on the Moon. Some of the technology can manipulate gravity. He says the agency ordered a cover-up and forced him to participate in it. According to Johnston, Apollo astronauts brought back photographic evidence of the artifacts they found during their lunar extravehicular activities (EVAs). Johnston claims NASA ordered him to destroy the EVA images while he was at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), but he refused.
When he went public, the space agency terminated him”

Evidence in the form of leaked, blurred photos allegedly showing massive structures and a base on the far side of the moon have emerged in recent years, along with many others that show blatant evidence of tampering.

Donna Hare

“Another former NASA employee, Donna Hare, has accused NASA of doctoring, obfuscating, and obscuring thousands of photos over the years. She has gone on record alleging that the space agency erased inconvenient anomalies on certain damning photos. During her time at NASA she was a specialist working as an illustrator and photographic slide technician. Her service awards include the 1969 Apollo Achievement award, a Skylab award, and a special commemorative medallion for meritorious service involving the joint American-Russian space mission, Apollo-Soyuz. A technical illustrator by profession, Hare has just about done it all during her tenure with the space agency, working as a space illustrator and in the Precision Slide Lab. She illustrated space vehicles, satellites, launch pads, landing sites, lunar maps and much, much more. Hare worked as a sub-contractor with the agency for more than 15 years. When she blew the whistle on NASA, she went public and appeared as a guest on WOL-AM radio in Washington, D.C.”

Sergeant Karl Wolfe

Wolfe worked as a precision, electronic, photographic specialist for the Director of Intelligence at Headquarters Tactical Air Command, Technical Group of the US Air Force. Having a top-secret-crypto security clearance, he was stationed at Langley Air Force Base in 1965 and was assigned to work for the Lunar Orbiter Project at Langley field. Upon his arrival, he claims to have been shown pictures of intelligently designed, geometric structures that had been discovered on the far side of the Moon.

It seems that NASA’s recent attempt to control what other Moon visitors are allowed to see by assigning these illegal “no-fly zones” on the Moon only ads credibility to the many claims of a deeply disturbing cover-up that has lasted decades.
